havent been here for quite some time yeah.
been pretty fun. worked on NY eve at office and orchard. away frm the crowd, but still fun with jean, anissa n pam arnd =p esp on the HiPPO during countdown! n yesh, afterthat, going to balestier (some place i forgot) to eat. saw bryan wong there @ like nearly 2am. super cool day worked frm 9am till midnite :)
had my first tuition assignment on the 4th few houses down the road from my house after work. of course, i was late! thanks to the rain. oh wells.
jean bought cake up to office to celeb bdae for jamie. very sweet of them. but was told in the working world its always like that..anyway there was sum fun stalling jamie, cus she wanted to leave early la. but yesh! good time again..at night, went for dinner with rena, pam and jean @ sum restarant in raffles city. was in super good mood dat night =) i even managed to walk home from serangoon mrt as a result of feeling a little fat :S i even managed to clear some stuff from my brain. phews =)
saturday was so-called 'staff-gathering' @ bistro. whew spent the whole night out drinkin n jus sitting arnd. mmm. thankfully i can trust joel to bring me hm safely, else i wouldn b reaching hm @ nearly 4am in the morning. i went to the gym earlier on in the day. havent been exercising but i can still manage 5k. shud try getting of my lazy ass more often.
its back to work again on monday. jamie's on mc, anissa's still in HK. office's really peaceful and i got alot of cha-pa-lang stuff to do. for instance, i got to set-up chief's new k610i phone, got to order printer, got to try to get ppl to repair the laptop, got to speak to jamie w her horrible voice on the phone..n as usual jean n jamie 'nagged' at me for stayin out late. super coordinated.
been slackg a little. leaving closer to my real office hours. n going out for lunch on tuesday. whew the donut queue @ raffles city is crazee. i queued on monday cus i had nth better to do. lucki i managed to steal 7 home after queueing for 40min, despite them oreadi warning us that there may not b enuuff left. phew! (d other day i went to queue with jamie, after 30min, we were nearli there..and there wasnt any left!)
first time venturing out of suntec during lunch..and i met so many ppl out there.. like chaorong frm hc, huiyi who's workin @ oscars, qinghui frm dhs, linli.. jus in less dan one hr.
jus came back frm balloon bistro again, frm amelia's 22nd bdae celeb. not many ppl. wanted 2 leave arnd 9+ with yeu..but joel wanted to come, so waited from him? n went home after sending kourin home. mymy, she unknowingly took this 70%vodka-cough-mixture -tasting thing. horrible. thankfully i rejected it n this nice person called jacqueline finished it for me.
hmm. really different out there.. now i know how sheltered i was in the past..esp in dhs. ppl's diff, thinkg different, way of life.. eye-opener. i rlly have alot to learn. acty. ppl frm schs like mine r those who rlly need to learn. yeap.
rlly enjoying learning new stuff. but sumtimes, i cant help feeling that my brain does need some exercise. where's my kidney notes..and maths assignments? i have the basic theory test coming up on 8th feb though..
more guys going into NS this week. had to miss the 'fare-well' bbq thrown for them. -shrugs- just as well. its a whole new world..
feeling good now. a little nostalgic though. i miss some of my old days in HC. -wow- dats surprising. i miss trainings! i rlly miss paddling on the stingray (yes, NO, not on the T1 definitely!!)..i miss the lectures n tutorials with yaoxu, amanda, liying n panyue. i havent been hearing from them, other than amanda :(
taking things easy. there's simply too little time for the many things that i wanna do now.
oh yes. do i look dat old? i dun believe it. why do the guys think im past twenty? hrm. none of u reading will believe rite. impossible. but well, its really new. er mu yi xin. sth different to hear. maybe sch uniform n my casual clothes make me look younger. tell me abt it man
still fresh n can go on.
